Jeremiah Ridgeway Photographer

A native of Tucson, AZ, at the age of 22, Ridgeway enlisted in the US Army as a Cavalry Scout. In February 2006, his unit, the 3-71 Cavalry, 10th Mountain Division, deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 7. During 3-71 Cavalry’s 15 month deployment, the unit conducted several major combat operations in southern and northeastern Afghanistan. In addition, his unit performed day-to-day combat operations within the Hindu Kush Mountains, where Ridgeway earned his Combat Action Badge (CAB).
